Record Tools of Sheffield England makes this set of chisels under the Marples name. The blades are Sheffield Steel - one of the finest grades of steel for sharp cutting edges. This set boasts inunbreakablein plastic handles which are also immune to seasonal changes in humidity and they won't mind if you get a little water on them while sharpening on a water stone. The handle size is slightly oversize - clearly designed for heavier work. It still makes us cringe to think of a metal hammer head on any chisel, but if you simply must, then these would be the chisels for it. Blade Bolster & Tang forged from one piece of steel.
