Blue-Kote is the newest generation of rust-resistant screws from Kreg, providing up to 400% more weather resistance than zinc-plated screws. It’s the best choice for the majority of exterior Pocket-Screw Applications and general exterior construction.
The screws are treated with three chemically-combined anti-corrosion layers to give them up to 400% more weather resistance compared to zinc-plated screws. Making them the ideal choice for garden and patio furniture, as well as for general exterior construction.
The coarse-thread screw has a larger thread diameter and provides greater holding power for plywood, MDF, melamine and pine.
