TM1104 Beechwood Cutting Gauge

Our half round cutting gauge is manufactured from the best quality beech from plantation grown/FSC sources. This is the traditional 'half round' gauge as apposed to the more modern square head. The head is plated with 2 brass strips and then it is secured to the stem with a plastic thumbscrew. This cutting Gauge is ideal for scoring across the grain and can also be used for gutting strips of wood veneer and small rebates. The cutter is secured in place with a brass wedge which also enables removal for sharpening the cutter.
