These Gouges are a detailing tool used between center work, where the grain is running parallel from center to center. Spindle Gouges are used to create beads & coves on goblets and other turning projects. Manufactured from M2 High Speed Steel (Rockwell 62/64) and fitted with an ergonomically designed stained Rosewood handle and a heavy-duty Brass ferrule.
